Martyn’s Law, officially titled the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, was passed in April 2025 in response to the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017, which tragically claimed the life of Martyn Hett and 21 others. The law aims to improve protective security and organisational preparedness at public venues across the UK.
