A Business Impact Analysis ("BIA") is about identifying critical and non-critical activities in your business so that resources can be applied where they are most needed should a major incident occur.
The execution of the BIA will enable us to help you set your business continuity strategy to enable recovery from a major problem in an acceptable timescale.
We give you the benefit of best practice and help you formulate your business continuity plan ("BCP"), which sets out what needs to be done to get your business up and running again if a major problem happens.
Everyone involved with your business continuity plan must fully understand it and be able to put it into practice. This is best embedded by us facilitating scenario based testing, which can include IT disaster recovery testing.
A business continuity management system needs to be kept up-to-date. Not all organisations have the resource to keep on top of this and so we offer a fully managed service, usually on a 3 year basis. Clients are increasingly outsourcing internal audits, management reviews and supplier audits
