Biscon Planning & Commercial Initiatives join forces!

We’re thrilled to announce a strategic merger between Biscon Planning Limited and Commercial Initiatives Limited, creating one of the UK’s most comprehensive providers of business continuity, risk management, and resilience consultancy services.  The newly merged company will trade under Biscon Planning Limited’s name. David Leigh is retiring from the business but Chris Ledsham will continue with Biscon. Any existing client exercises will be completed by the respective companies with full integration expected in early 2026.

This partnership brings together two respected organisations with complementary strengths: Biscon Planning Limited – experts in ISO 22301 Certification, Risk Management, Organisational Resilience, Operational Resilience, Training, and Crisis Decision Making and Management. Commercial Initiatives Limited – specialists in Business Continuity, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Communications and Information Security.

Biscon is an innovative risk and business continuity consultancy which was established in 2001 and has offices in Chalford, Gloucestershire and Liverpool, Merseyside. All the work we do is designed to conform with the Standard for Business Continuity Management, ISO 22301 (2019). We work with our clients using only experienced and accredited consultants. We also work with a network of partners who provide areas of expertise to complement what we do. Information is a valuable asset to small and large businesses alike and Biscon offers consultancy for certification to ISO 27001, covering Information Security Management.
